total garbage...!!!!!!!!!!!!

The no check-in option pretty much makes this app pointless.

I KEEP PUTTING A TEN DIGIT PHONE NUMBER AND IT KEEPS TELLING ME THE SAME THING. WORST APP EVER.

Login doesnt work and my reservations dont show up if I can get logged in.

This is by far the worst airline app that I have seen. If you want the travelers to use this app, pl take time to talk to them. For very simple things like assign seats dont through the user to your mobile web app. Terrible interface and functionalities.

This app is terrible. I fly 2 airlines, American and Southwest. I use both apps regularly. By far, the southwest app is superior. Easy to use, fast, and reliable. The agency responsible for creating this app should take some serious notes from the SW app. The first basic improvement should be making it easier to book trips. I want to book 1 leg at a time. Dont make me search through all the options including the return flight. Let me pick my departure flight...then my return flight. This would have people a lot of time. Pretty basic people!! Come on... Get it together AA. You should be embarrassed with this current version.

Just got the app and it is unusable. Although I am in the AA system the app made no effort to find me, i.e. email, last name, phone - something. Switched over to guest, asked for 1st and last name and Record Locator! WTH. United App is much friendlier. This app needs to be rewritten.

This app doesnt make sense. You can check in online, but if you check bags you still have to check in at airport. You cant check bags in or pay for them and changing seats only works part of the time (like when youre checking in). Please take note from Delta. Their app is amazing and so much easier to use.

Nicely colorful, but it mostly just throws vague errors that advise me to contact an AA agent.

Multi-city booking...

I fly very frequently for my work. American airlines is consistently the worst experience of any airline. They treat anyone not first class as cattle. Their app is no different. Its terrible. Buggy. Doesnt update with flight changes. Just pay a few dollars more, avoid american, avoid this app, and youll have a much happier travel experience.

Ive booked two trips on the app, both have cost me over $600 and not able to use. Never got email confirmations of flights and purchases both times. One no reservation showed up at all on app, booked another flight and lost the money for the first. Second booking, it booked the wrong date. I fly over 250,000 mi a year and will now go out of my way not to use this airline.

Worst app!!!Keeps crashing while trying to check in for flight to Canada from US ... In addition to everything everyone else has said. Really poor show AA - you need to wake up!!!!

4/2016 Update: This weeks update fixed the above error for me. Im now able to see my future reservation. Thanks for the update! ========== Original Review: I have this app installed on two iPads and an iPhone. I see the above error when I try and tap on my existing reservation in the app (on any of the devices). When I log into the website via Safari, I can see the details of the reservation just fine. Cant see the point of this app if I cant view my upcoming reservation.... Fail.

With the last update - complications no longer work on watch....

Cant book flights just using flight number. Need to know how to use miles to EASILY book a flight.

Updated: no improvement. Get Parker to book his own flight using this app! This still messed up. Have a look at Alaskas, that app ROCKS
