Worst experience ever. Forms dont works. For instance, they ask to enter the passport number, but doesnt not allow letters. Bravo! You really now how it works.

Please fix it. Ive had good functionality until now and now its giving an internal server error and the customer service number it prompts to call is disconnected when I call it. Having an app fail the day you fly is a problem. I can still check info through the mobile aa.com website but thats not as easy to navigate as the app.

There appears to be a bug present which is troublesome as I’m a frequent flyer between the U.S. and Canada. When flying a U.S. to Canada flight, e.g. Chicago to Kitchener, I’m unable to check in using the app. The app forces me to enter a U.S. temporary address even though I’m departing the U.S. and I’m a Canadian resident, before the confirmation button appears at the bottom. When I enter some address in, the button appears, but when I click on it, I get an error saying that I have to provide the address, which I just did. I can’t proceed. I have to go to the American web site to check in.

A conscious decision. It discourages the use of password managers and encourages bad passwords. Its a silly decision in 2016.

Sure it looks modern, but the usability is nearly non existent. I consistently find myself lost, on broken pages and unable to even obtain a boarding pass. If you want an application which looks great, youre nearly there. But if you are looking for any functionality at all, try another carrier. Somewhat of an embarrassment. Where was the QA team on this one?

9 out of 10 times, I always get an error message whenever I try to changes seat numbers on my first try. Other than that, its a decent app.

The calendar doesnt work so I cant select any dates at all. So because todays date is the default, I cant get any search results. Or even change the date. This app looks like it could be useful though.

Works well, do what its supposed to do, and you can forget about check in stress.. You simply drop your bags, no paper needed! Thank you technology

Its 15 days that gives me the error "unable to log in, precondition failed" Before was a great app but now cant use it. Please fix

Ticket and times all good. But to book or luggage check has to be down over the web; check Deltas app. Parking feature, track bags and change seats are great. Unfortunately, apps have been around for some time now and AA is a major carrier that shouldnt be playing catch up and this app needs to catch up.

I dont know why so many people are confused about how to use this app. Its simple and, in my experience, very reliable. Flights can be found, booked, and loaded in passbook. Most negative reviews are airport-specific. Its entirely irrelevant if a hurricane caused your flight to be canceled or if an airport doesnt allow curbside bag dropoff.

I cant figure out why this app doesnt show all 3 travelers associated with my reservation. I have the United Airlines app and it shows all 3 of us.

Honestly not sure why theres so many bad reviews. As somebody who flies 50K+ miles a year, this app is great. Would be nice to be able to book from the app, but other than that the boarding pass and reservation handling is nice.

Continuous errors when attempting to load boarding pass. I always end up having to print them out. Sometimes can get at least one to load but what good is that with a multi leg trip.

The fact that anyone would prevent users from "pasting" their password is outrageous. To have a long randomized password is the most basic web-security practice, and a password manager is essential for most users trying to implement the practice. I believe that publishers deliberately prevent paste into the password field are either: malicious, or they themselves lack adequate security, most certainly they lack the basic implementation of security practices, which is AA?

Normally I dont write app reviews, but this app is so bad I had to warn other travelers not to rely on the information provided!!!! Im a frequent flyer and buy several tickets this app almost made me buy tickets for flights i had previously purchased, Just makes American Airlines look bad that they cant get their act together even at providing customers with reliable travel information.

I previously made an Apple Watch Modular face with the American complication as the middle feature. This is very handy because it showed the next scheduled event, such as the boarding time of the next flight. Before my current trip overseas it had stopped working, only showing 2 dashed lines. Now its working again; maybe there was an update during the last couple of weeks since I arrived at my destination. Thanks for the fix.

Trying to book a flight by redeeming miles through the app. Cant do it. Actually cant book any flight through the app. Whats the point of having the app if you cant book a flight with it? It Takes you to the website. Have to keep logging in. Wasted 45 minutes.
