"Boarding pass" button triggers "upgrade"

When checking in via the app and hitting the "boarding pass" button, I got a success message for being added to the upgrade list.

100% certain I did not touch the upgrade button

I would not want to waste 2 of the ridiculous 500 mile vouchers on a 545 mile commuter jet fight.
